JAZZELPASO CONNECTION IS "PUTTIN' ON THE RITZ" WITH LIVE JAZZ, DANCING & CASINO TABLES. SAVE THE DATE!
JazzElPaso Connection (JepC), a non-profit 501c3 organization, cordially invites you to join us in April for our first HARLEM NIGHTS speakeasy 1930’s nightclub sophistication with El Paso’s finest live-jazz musicians, dancing, casino tables, bar and food service. Corporate and individual tax-deductible sponsorships, the assistance of grants from various organizations such as the El Paso Museums and Cultural Affairs Department (MCAD) and the Texas Commission on the Arts (TCA), along with JepC’s mission to enhance our community’s jazz heritage for generations all go towards enriching quality of life for students and families throughout this region. Here’s what your contribution supports:
• Education Initiative Program sponsoring the El Paso Youth Jazz Ensemble—El Paso’s only all-city high school jazz big band also known as “El Paso’s Music Ambassadors”.
• Public School Arts/Music Multi-Media Events—providing outreach opportunities for students to participate in jazz music, dance and art projects.
• Bringing quality jazz concerts to El Paso’s stages including: "Jazz on the Rocks", "Jazz at the Philanthropy", "Chamizal Blues and Latin Jazz Festival" and other jazz concerts in various local venues.
• History of Jazz in El Paso/Juarez—a book project projected to preserve the extraordinary legacy and heritage of our regions jazz artists.
• Promoting El Paso as the “International Jazz Capital on the Border” with the collaboration of El Paso’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau (CVB).
What better way to make-a-difference in our community by participating, along with JepC and other allied collaborative organizations, in this spectacular jazz evening! Make your contribution and help us enrich our community’s jazz heritage for generations. Sponsorship packages available.
